While we absolutely love the Vita Mix blender versatility, it just so happens that the vast majority of our favorite Vita Mix recipes happen to be smoothies. We’re always on the lookout for new Vita Mix recipes, and thought we would share a few of our all-time favorites.

“Going Green” Vita Mix Recipe

  • 1 cup (160 g) green grapes
  • 2 cups (60 g) fresh spinach
  • 1/2 cup (78 g) pineapple
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) water
  • 1/2 ripe banana, peeled
  • 1 cup (240 ml) ice cubes

“A Little Bit of Everything” Vita Mix Recipe

  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) soy milk
  • 1 orange, peeled, halved
  • 1/2 cup (45 g) chopped broccoli
  • 1/2 cup (15 g) spinach leaves
  • 1/4 banana, peeled, frozen
  • 1/2 cup (80 g) red grapes
  • 1/2 peach, pitted
  • 1 cup (240 ml) ice cubes
  • 1 cup (150 g) frozen unsweetened strawberries
  • 2 baby carrots
  • 1/2 cup (78 g) pineapple chunks

“Emerald Smoothie” Vita Mix Recipe

  • 1 stalk celery (7-inch stalk), halved
  • 2 cups (480 ml) ice cubes
  • 4 ounces (113 g) low fat vanilla yogurt or vanilla soymilk
  • sweetener to taste if pineapple is a bit tart
  • 2 cups (310 g) fresh, ripe pineapple, with core (or a 2-inch-thick slice)
  • 1 cup (30 g) spinach leaves, gently packed

“Kat James’ Beauty Detox Elixir” Vita Mix Recipe

  • 1 3/4-inch wedge red cabbage
  • pinch cayenne pepper or 1/4″ slice of jalapeno pepper
  • 1″ piece fresh ginger
  • to taste smart sweetener (i.e. stevia, agave)
  • 1/2 lemon, scrubbed and unpeeled
